Kadai Bhendi

What We Need :

Bhendi - 25no
Cumin seeds - 1/2 spn
Garlic cloves finely chopped
Ginger very finely chopped
Green chillies - 2no
Onions - 2no of medium size
Tomato - 2no of medium size
Coriander powder -2spn
Red chillie powder - 1spn
Garam Masala - 1/2 spn
Amchoor powder - 1/2spn
Oil for deep frying

Salt to your taste

How To Do :

  • Cut okra/bhendi to 1inch pieces and deep fry them keep aside.
  • In a pan heat oil fry jeera, garlic pieces, ginger pieces, green chillies for 1min now fry chopped onions until they are transculent add chopped tomato pieces until they are soft.
  • Now add fried bhendi, coriander powder, chillie powder, garam masala powder, amchoor powder and salt.
  • Let it cook for 3min with lid on top of it.
Here is my Kadai Bhendi to serve hot..........
