Carrot Idly

Here am with a variation of our regular breakfast Idly with carrots....

What We Need:

Idly batter
Carrot: 1no
Jeera - 1 spn
Mustard seeds - 1 spn
Green Chillie - 1 no
Oil for tempering

How To Do:

  • Grate carrot and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a kadai for tempering add mustard seeds, jeera and fry until they splutter add finely chopped green chillies and grated carrot turnoff the heat immediately.
  • Mix well this tempering with idly batter and make it as regular idlies

Serve hot with any chutney of your taste ......

Coconut Dosa

Here i am with another variety of dosa with coconut

What We Need:

Coconut: 1cup
Rice: 2 cups
Oil:  1/2spn for making each dosa

Salt to your taste

How To Do:

  • Soak rice overnight or atleast for 4 -5 hours and wash thoroughly.
  • Grind soaked rice, coconut along with salt by adding a little water, this should be like our regular dosa batter consistency.
  • Keep it aside for atleast half an hour.
  • Heat a pan or dosa pan grease with oil pour a laddle of batter and make it as regular dosa and cook on both sides.

Serve hot with any chutney we loved to have this with carrot chutney but the little one liked this as it is ....

Rose Milk

Here i am with a cool milk with rose essence ......

What We Need:

Rose Milk Essence: 2spoons
Cool Milk - 1 glass
Sugar - to your taste

How To Do:

Blend all of them together and serve cool or hot according to your taste.

You can use either cool or hot milk according to your taste, we love to have this Cool Rose Milk and a very good choice of giving milk to kids ........
